A stroy of sacrifice and survival of combat outpost Keating in 2009 in Afghanistan where an outpost was seized by a large number of taliban fighters due its location disadvantage, where it is surronded by mountains all over. The battle has been won by the outpost finally when tlair support rushed to the rescue. Nice war movie.

I think this one is a great war movie. Keeping in mind the budget is not as big as other great productions the result is quite satisfactory.
First, the movie is accurate to the facts. Second, acting here is great. Even not big stars here, excepting Orlando and Eastwood, the main cast is great. Real and believable. Last, cinematography and setting is great. It's unbelievable were the soldiers were sent. That hole was a trap.
So, overall a great action war movie based on a true story. Honestly, how did they get Orlando Bloom and Scott Eastwood signed onto this? The movie is a complete mess! There's no real direction, the writing is poor, acting is really sub par and it's just full of clichés. I didn't feel an attachment to any of the characters and didn't really feel any suspense or anticipation as to how it was going to play out. Just badly written and directed in my opinion.
